OBJECTIVES OF THE DEGREE PROGRAM

Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED)

The four-year course leads to a degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education.

It aims to form teachers imbued with human values and Christian principles and ideals. They form teachers who are aware of the aspirations and values of the Filipino people; and acquainted with the psychological, socio-cultural, philosophical and historical foundations of education in the Philippines.

Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED)

The four-year course leads to a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education.

It aims to form teachers imbued with human values and Christian principles and ideals. They are equipped with teaching-learning strategies and evaluative techniques to enable them to contribute to the growth and development of the youth which will make them productive participants in the regional and national history as a people.

They form teachers who are aware of the aspirations and values of the Filipino people; and acquainted with the psychological, socio-cultural, philosophical and historical foundations of education in the Philippines.
