KATAS 2026: Teaching as Mission – Educating with Faith, Excellence and Compassion

KATAS 2026 successfully brought together teachers and administrators from the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk Catholic Schools Network for three days of spiritual renewal, professional growth, and meaningful fellowship. Centered on the theme, "Teaching as Mission: Educating with Faith, Excellence and Compassion," the seminar commenced with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and a recollection that renewed the participants' sense of vocation as Catholic educators. Throughout the three-day gathering, various learning sessions equipped participants with updated knowledge, practical strategies, and valuable insights that strengthened their competencies as educators, administrators, and school personnel.

A highlight of the seminar was the session on Mental Health Awareness, which emphasized the importance of emotional well-being in fostering effective teaching and learning. Participants gained a deeper understanding of creating safe, caring, and inclusive school environments where both teachers and learners can thrive. The discussions reinforced the significance of compassion, resilience, and collaboration in responding to the diverse needs of students while promoting a culture of support and holistic development.

As KATAS 2026 concluded, participants left the seminar enriched not only with new knowledge and professional skills but also with renewed faith, strengthened commitment, and a deeper appreciation of their mission as Catholic educators. The experience inspired them to continue serving their respective school communities with excellence, integrity, and compassion, nurturing both the minds and hearts of every learner while upholding the values and mission of Catholic education.
